3 Of the Best States to Visit in 2021

In the New Year of 2021, maybe your New Year’s Resolution should be to finally take that trip to America. After all, how long has that been on your bucket list? While all those much needed, but much dreaded, resolutions were made and kept, it’s been too long! And it’s finally time to jump across the pond. Especially with the year, we’ve all been having so far, I would definitely say it’s time for a well-earned break.

To get you raring to go and those travel plans on the way, I just happen to have the three BEST states to visit when you’re finally in the red, white and blue land of the United States.

Hawaii

The islands of Hawaii are made up of the three smaller islands, Kaua’i, O’ahu, Maui, and the largest, of course, Hawaii. If anything should be a draw to these beautiful islands, it should be the six active volcanoes that are there and the rich history of the native Hawaiian peoples.

The six volcanoes of the islands are called Kīlauea, Mauna Loa, Haulālai, Mauna Kea, Lō’ihi and Haleakalā, with Mauna Loa being the biggest active volcano in the world. The last time it erupted in 1984, it lasted for twenty-two days. If that isn’t something to strike off your bucket list, then you might need to rewrite it!

Hawaii doesn’t just have amazing sites to see, but a chance to respectfully study another’s history is never an opportunity to pass up!

Connecticut

Connecticut is another great state to visit! With Hartford as it’s capital, Connecticut has so much to explore.

The first on the list should be Yale University. Yep! Yale University resides in Connecticut, so stop off here because it’s campuses are something to explore. The Sterling Memorial Library is the biggest of all its libraries (yes, it has more than one!). Having been built in the 1930s, it’s said to look like a Cathedral! So for all the book nerds (me included!), the Sterling Memorial Library is something to experience and see for yourself. And beautiful old libraries aren’t the only thing this university has to offer. Believe it or not, Yale also has its own art gallery! So, for everyone wanting a snippet of American university life, Yale is really the place to go.

Another reason to visit Connecticut is while being a state of cities (and we all know what living in a city comes with), there is fantastic local pest control in ct from yalepest that makes it one of the nicest, and rodent-free states to visit.

Connecticut isn’t only known for its historic university and clean city living. If you want a place of wonder to explore, take to the town of Mystic, a coastal town wholly devoted to everything maritime. From its seaport, sea-themed village, aquarium, to art galleries, themed restaurants, and shops, Mystic is a unique place to see (pun intended)! And for any film buffs out there, the town is home to none other than Mystic Pizza. For any fans of the film, Mystic Pizza is a must-stop on your tour of the states.

Alaska

Last, but not least, Alaska

The final State of your trip has to be Alaska. If any one reason should draw to this state, it’s the chance to experience the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. The natural phenomenon of lights is something to experience at least once in your life, and while you’re in America, there’s no better place than the snowy state of Alaska to do it.

From islands with active volcanoes and rich cultural histories, states with famous universities and maritime towns, to snowy states to catch a glimpse of the Aurora, Hawaii, Connecticut, and Alaska are some of the best states to visit in 2021.
